Bonjour - French inspired residence
Specialising in distinctively different designs in residential and commercial, this French inspired residence was no exception to the unique edge D & R Design and Construction are famous for.

Keen to satisfy the client's desire for a home with a strong French influence, the feel of the Hall of Mirrors of the French Royal Palace at Versailles was reincarnated in this Queensland formal dining room using mirrors, plaster and Resene Enamacryl Metallic.

Though the room took a full fortnight to complete, it was the extensive detailing that consumed the hours rather than the materials. Careful application required the patience and dedication of a saint, particularly with daily progress excruciatingly slow compared to the average job completion rate.

Fit for royalty, the proud owners of this home revel in its magnificence while the contractors sit back and beam with pride at their mastery.
