From the Resene News – issue 1/2004 In fashion - nikki-L fashion clothing Nikki Lawrence (17) of Auckland won the New Zealand Young Designer of the Year title designing a dress that is ìclean cut and sophisticated, aimed towards young people.î Nikki's designs focus on black and whites, earthy tones and beiges. Required to recommend other colourways that could be used for the design as part of the entry, Nikki used The Range from Resene to show all the different colours that would be "fashion" colours for the year including references to favourites such as Resene Lemon Grass and Resene Tea. With a bright design future ahead, Nikki's designs have just been launched under the nikki-L label. |
