From the Resene News – issue 3/2002 Sea spray - South Brighton Changing Pavilion Block walls and Villaboard were finished in a three coat graffiti resistant Resene Uracryl gloss finish, while all steel was coated in a high build urethane system. Timberwork has been further protected from the elements with Resene X-200 waterproofing membrane. The high gloss finish on doors was achieved with topcoats of durable easy clean Resene Super Gloss enamel. Underfoot, the concrete floor was first acid etched and then coated with three coats of Resene Aquapoxy to complete the durable shell. Tagging has been discouraged through the use of an artistic beach theme. Vibrant colours, symbolic ceramic tiles and artwork, have given all New Brighton beach-goers a safe and convenient changing facility for those hot summer days.
