Senses alive - Christchurch Multi-Sensory Facility
The new Christchurch Multi-Sensory Facility on offer at the QEII is a first in the Southern Hemisphere offering a publicly accessible place of learning and relaxation for those with disabilities and their families. Family members can relax and watch as new sights and sounds stimulate the four main senses and imaginations of their loved ones, safe in the knowledge that trained assistants are on hand to maximise the experience. Or, all whom enter can enjoy the centre first hand and take part in the sensory experiences offered.
