Ahead a bed - Tamarillo Tree headboards for kids beds
Funky, bold headboards using Resene paints feature in children's bedrooms with the launch of the Tamarillo Tree range of six headboard designs with options for customisation. The brainchild of sisters Carina Sim-Smith and Ping Sim, the headboards are handcrafted and finished in New Zealand.

Every headboard is specially matched to the room it is destined for. Customers send a photo of their child's room and Tamarillo Tree design a headboard to enhance the existing room.

The headboards are hand painted using Resene Quick Dry Acrylic Primer Undercoat, dozens of Resene Lumbersider satin acrylic testpots and a final coat of waterborne Resene Aquaclear polyurethane to protect the finish.

While no two designs are the same, with themes ranging from the Classic Car to the Little Fairy Princess, they are all guaranteed to have two features in common - they're eyecatching and not surprisingly treasured by those children whom snuggle up below them in bed at night.
