A ditch away - Two storey Queenslander
Two storey QueenslanderThe refurbishment of huge two storey Queenslander residential homes inevitably calls for high sheen finishes to impart maximum durability and cleanability. This Brisbane residence is the latest in the list to enjoy the Resene treatment, with exterior timber hardwood coated in Resene Hi-Glo gloss acrylic tinted to heritage hues for the highest exterior sheen available. A lower sheen finish was desired internally and achieved through a combination of Resene Lumbersider satin acrylic tinted to Resene Pearl Lusta (light cream) on broadwall areas with the highly reflective Resene Enamacryl gloss waterbased enamel on trim and joinery to ensure these high contact areas could be easily cleaned by the homeowner.

The kiwi born and bred painter, familiar with Resene products from his early New Zealand trade work, was delighted to find that Resene had crossed the ditch behind him, providing an easily accessed source of his previous favourite products in his new adopted home country.
