The mural at the netball
courts symbolises the four school houses of Greerton Village School
- earth, wind, fire and water, plus the local area of the Bay
of Plenty, rich in Maori culture and tradition. Not only have
they created a scene to reflect the school and locality, the mural
has had added benefits of brightening the court area and it is
hoped will deter graffiti.
