Background to mural creation:
Limehills School takes its
name from the abundance of lime found in the hills, and the students
have great fun at the Limeworks hunting for fossils. Limehills
once was all under the sea and evidence of this remains in the
shell fossils that are found. The mural recreates this exploration
and the colours of the Limeworks.
