| Blank canvas Kim selected a palette of light hues balanced with deep complex hues to add interest, colour and personality to her new home. The entry/landing and lounge are linked with mutual base colours of Resene Milk Punch contrasted with a Resene Mulled Wine feature wall in the entry/landing and a Resene Barossa feature wall in the lounge. The inset panels surrounding the stainless steel fireplace surround have also been finished in Resene Barossa to match the feature wall. Extending the warm tones into other rooms, a special yellow was mixed for the family, dining, kitchen and study. Moving away from the predominantly yellow and purple palette of the main living areas, each bedroom is finished in a unique scheme. The master bedroom is coated in Resene Coral offset with a well placed Resene Sepia feature wall, while the child's bedroom is decorated in Resene Conifer.
To complete the look, artworks by Ira McCully created using a mixture of Resene paints, adorn the walls.
