Two small children involved in the proceedings was only slightly less
challenging than deciding on colours when Joanne and Mark decided to
repaint their lounge, dining room and bedroom. They painted up a square
of white paper with various shades of yellow and green until they found
the colour that suited the room. Having used Resene throughout the last
home they redecorated, they have found that Resene paints have changing
shades of colour as the light moves around each room, day and night,
thus creating different moods. Keen to bring out the best of each room
by selecting the right bright hue, they finally agreed on a palette
of Resene Conifer in the dining room, Resene Energy Yellow in the lounge
and Resene Red Berry in the bedroom, all complemented by Rimu and cedar
on trim, joinery and features.

The complete project took 3-4 weeks of nights and weekends to complete,
including stripping paint off the wood areas before priming and topcoating.
Sensibly they concentrated on one room at a time shifting everything
out before starting.

The inside complete, they are now putting the finishing touches to
the exterior of Resene Pipi, Resene Palm Leaf and Resene Amulet.
