Shed to bach
The Gough family bought a beach section with an old shed and quickly decided to transform the shed into a bach, hopefully without spending a lot of money.

To create a wet area they drained the water tank, which was luckily conveniently located right next to the shed, and hooked the water up to the mains. After the plumber had cut a doorway and window into the tank and installed a toilet, basin and shower, Pauline set about crazy tiling the floor. This proved to be a very enjoyable activity as she had only a loose plan of the finish and had an extra challenge of tiling to suit the unusual shape of the wet area. Once the floor was complete, the walls and ceiling were in need of colour to brighten them. Resene Fuego proved to be the perfect choice transforming the tank into a cheerful and warm wet area.

Moving inside the shed itself, the children's bedrooms were painted in Resene Limeade with trims of Resene Deep Teal. The kitchen/living area was finished in Resene Prairie Sand - the finishing touch in a conversion of an old shed into a small but modern holiday home.
