Your Home and Garden Resene Inspiration Gallery

Paint to please
Recently Anita and her husband shifted into a townhouse that suited their needs extremely well but needed every room painted and some of the outside flossed up as well to suit their tastes.

Anita decided to do the painting herself. She started on the lounge by visiting her local Resene ColorShop to get paint colour charts and from these chose to paint all the rooms with Resene Chamois in a low sheen finish to cover up the old wallpaper. The look was completed by painting the ceiling in Resene Pearl Lusta to cover the smoke marks that had previously been obvious.

Resene paints have given this townhouse a bright and trendy facelift

Anita deliberately chose to use waterborne products, making spills and splashes easy to wipe up, and brushes and hands easy to clean at the end of the job.

Delighted with the finish inside, Anita turned her attention to the front door and planter boxes plus the frontage of the house. All got a bright and trendy facelift from drab brown to Resene Lustacryl semi-gloss waterborne enamel tinted to Resene Fusion. For added warmth, the area under the eaves was painted in Resene Gin Fizz.

Next to go up is a blue and gold border destined for the bathroom.
