Using the existing curtains for inspiration, the yellow was picked out and translated into Resene Sweet Corn on the walls. The wall unit, once an ugly varnished pine veneer, was refurbished using Resene Waterborne Smooth Surface Sealer followed by topcoats of Resene Astronaut, which ties in well with the curtains and change table, and just happens to be the colour of their kitchen cabinets so they got a spruce up at the same time.
A shub was added to an existing bathroom as there was no other bath. This required patching up the original wall colour Resene Bitter. While sourcing the paint for that work, Resene staff also assisted with paint to patch up a couple of small holes in the Resene Apple Blossom finish in the lounge.
The baby has now arrived and is delightedly at home in her new room. Thanks to Jane Rollitt of Hamilton.
