Mortgage maker
After many years of living in older homes, Linda decided to increase her mortgage and modernise her lounge and kitchen, installing a small but adequate new kitchen, polishing the floors and replacing the ceiling. Such a seemingly simple task took many difficult turns taking nearly a full year to complete the majority of the work.

Aware that the colour and quality of the paint chosen can greatly impact on the overall outcome, after much deliberation Linda selected Resene Sandspit Brown and Resene Jetsam Brown from the Resene Karen Walker collection. These colours were alternated throughout the lounge and kitchen area depending on the natural light and shade, complemented by ceilings of Resene Bianca. The neutral palette creates a pleasing contrast of colours that change depending on the time of day or weather conditions.
