Rewarding feeling
Building their own new home was very rewarding, allowing them to put their own finishing touches on all elements of the home, including the all important colour scheme.

After a few Resene testpots and help from the local Resene ColorShop they made their final selections.

The exterior Shadowclad was painted with Resene Livid Brown from the Karen Walker collection, a warm dark colour.

The whole of the interior was sprayed with Resene Broadwall 3 in 1 tinted to Resene Half Spanish White. With many large expanses of window in the design, they selected Resene Cougar for the main colour, a neutral that would not be washed out with the light streaming into the house.

Resene Fahrenheit decorates the entry giving a bold striking wall when you first step into the house, enhancing the interior window. The office is finished in Resene Norwegian Blue, an ideal choice for this working space complementing the Jarrah joinery and leather seats.

The kitchen was brightened and defined with Resene Olivetone. The predominantly white bathroom was softened with Resene Innuendo for the long soaks in the spa bath and was also used as the main feature in the master bedroom. A second bathroom is finished in Resene Lemon Grass.

Their two girls selected their own bedroom colours, which are now resplendent in Resene Hopskotch from the Resene KidzColour colour range and Resene Taffeta.
