A comprehensive home renovation and half storey addition at the
'Pukeko house' has been lavishly finished in its fair share of
Resene paint.
The Shearer family have designed, project managed, been offsiders
for the builder and done all the painting on their project.
They chose Resene Grandis as their primary interior colour to
give the house a warm feel and to complement the recycled Rimu
joinery and the furniture that they handcrafted. Resene Bianca
matches the colour of their double glazed window frames and is
used for all ceilings and a number of walls to offset the other
strong colours used on the inside.
To contrast with Resene Grandis, provide some variety in the
kitchen and tone in with the benchtop, they used a Resene colour
match to Mistral Blue. The colour worked so well it was repeated
in the master bedroom and as the trim colour on external fascias.
Resene Fuego features in a secondary bedroom and Resene Grenadier
in the spare room.
To help the exterior blend into the environment, Resene Half
Napa decorates the outside joined by Resene Storm Cloud on the
roof and Resene Bianca on soffits.

The project is now complete and they are loving living in this
space and inviting everyone for BBQs now that they have time to
throw parties!
Thanks to Jane Shearer of Christchurch.
