Rich red
When the Rennie family started renovations on their lounge/kitchen, they looked for a striking colour that would complement the 6.5 metre stud. The room tended to have a cold emptiness about it when it was just bare plasterboard so they knew it needed to be a rich colour that would add warmth to the space. Bearing this in mind they selected Resene Flame Red, a deep red that creates a wonderful welcoming feeling when you enter.

The pantry is finished in Resene Oilskin, its warm earthy tone working well with the Resene Flame Red and the Resene Half Spanish White used on trims and joinery.

The house exterior of board and batten needed a paint that would be suitable for use over cement based products, so they selected Resene X-200 waterproofing membrane tinted to Resene Oilskin. The natural earthy tone of Resene Oilskin helps the house blend into its environment without having to opt for the normal grey/green tones and also emphasises the desired lodge look.
