The
Parr family's tiny second bathroom was built in what was a too
small office. There is a big window, looking over a subtropical
area of the garden, where one can look out to see the sun shining
through the ribs of the nikau leaves making them a glowing red.
The pottery basin, which was purchased near Whitianga, picks up
this colour.
Ceridwyn had a few centimetres of Resene Raspberry left over
from another room, and thought she'd see the effect. This colour
gives the room such a vibrancy that they now leave the bathroom
door open most of the time so everyone can enjoy this perfect
garden view framed in deep harmonious red.
