Before - Resene PaintsCottage to home
The Beech family house was meant to be finished before the baby came, but missed the mark by a few months. They have turned a quaint little two bedroom 1920s cottage into a gorgeous three bedroom, two bathroom homestead. Nestled on a hectare of land just outside of Cambridge, the house is now fit for a growing family.

The house renovations were designed to keep to a style similar to the original. The home was originally lived in by their grandparents so it was important to maintain that sense of history in the extended home.

Resene colours topped off just the look they were after – simple, clean and fresh. They used Resene Tea on all the walls and Resene Quarter Tea on the interior trim and joinery and ceiling areas. The chimney feature wall is finished in Resene Wallpaper Linen and looks fantastic.

And the long desired nursery is complete, albeit a little later than expected.
