Cementitious surfaces include: concrete, concrete block, glass reinforced cement (GRC), fibre reinforced cement boards, concrete masonry, cement render [including stucco, rough cast, exterior insulation and finishing systems (EIFS)], brick, Fibrolite, Hardibacker, Hardiflex, Hardiplank, Hardishakes, Insulclad, pre-cast concrete panels, sponge plaster, tyrollean plaster.

Timber surfaces include all weatherboard, plywood and hardboard (including Totara, Matai and Cedar).
