How to transform a vase

Create with paint! Projects from habitat by Resene

From plain to pretty: DIY lace vase

Stencil a vase

Lace patterns always look beautiful. Turn this glass vase from plain to pretty with a lace effect. Here’s how to create your own.

You will need: Tall glass vase, cake stencil in a lace pattern, testpot brush or sponge, masking tape, Resene testpot in your choice of colour. We used Resene Redemption Blue.

Top tip: Use a Resene FX Metallic to add sparkling bling to your vase. Or opt for old glass bottles instead of a jar and use the lace effect on them.
