How to create a painted headboard

Create with paint! Projects from habitat by Resene

Love the look of painted headboards? This half-moon headboard uses Scandi-inspired blues to create a modern, moody bedroom.

Painted headboard

You will need: String, thumbtack/nail, chalk,1L of Resene paint of your choice. We used Resene Seachange, against a wall of Resene Coast, paint brush.

Top tip: For a double moon effect, trace two semi-circles. Use a longer string for the outer one. Then paint each in a complementary colour, with the outer circle used to highlight the main half-moon shape.
