Block resistance
Block resistance is the capability of a paint, when applied to two surfaces, not to stick to itself upon contact when pressure is applied. e.g. good block resistance helps keep a door from sticking to the jamb, or a window from sticking to its frame. Standard waterborne paints have poor block resistance. For working joinery always use a waterborne enamel, such as Resene Enamacryl (gloss), Resene Lustacryl (semi-gloss) or Resene SpaceCote Low Sheen (low sheen).
