“My inspiration for Resene Belladonna was based on the symbolism of the colour itself. Belladonna is the colour violet which symbolises gentleness, wisdom, royalty, creativity and spirituality. I wanted to incorporate spirituality, royalty and creativity into my theme ‘new beginnings’.

In my design you see that with the wing sleeves, this says ‘I’m an angel moving us out of blackness into light”. This is how I felt emerging out of lockdown as if something spiritual had blessed us. Taking us out of darkness and into a brighter better world. The crop top representing luxury with the dangling beads and the long pants going all the way to the ground is what brought out my creative side. Resene Belladonna says you can conquer anything in style.”
