Stunning stucco

Mark Rayner demonstrates how to revamp an old stucco wall to create a rich, warm backdrop - perfect for showing off the elegant foliage of a potted architectural plant.

You will need: Clean water, bucket, exterior masonry filler, garden spray, small knife for filling, stiff-bristled brush, paintbrush, rough surface paint roller and tray, Resene Concrete primer, Resene Moss & Mould Killer, Resene Paint Prep and House Wash, Resene Sonyx 101 tinted to Resene Sorbus.

To get the look: Mark potted up the ceramic pot with a Phormium ‘Chocomint’.

Top tip: When using Resene Moss & Mould Killer and Resene Paint Prep and Housewash, always follow the instructions on the label and wear adequate protection.
