Chalk it up

Mark Rayner comes up with a crafty double-banger, a storage and memo board.

You will need: Garden tools, paintbrushes, including an artists’ brush, pencil, screwdriver, paint stirrer, sandpaper, panel of 22mm plywood, ours measured 600mm x 1200mm, hanging brackets with screws, Resene no. 4 roller and paint tray. Resene Quick Dry waterborne primer undercoat. Resene Lumbersider tinted to Resene Sail and Resene Aviator. Resene Write-on Wall Paint.

Top tip: Always use whiteboard markers to write on the memo board and a whiteboard eraser or soft cloth to clean it.
