Raise'em up

Step 1
Prepare an area by removing weeds and levelling the ground. Then fix timber edging into position with garden pegs or by nailing the corners with 100mm nails.

Step 2
Lay weedmat and fix down with weedmat pins or pegs. Then arrange 16 of the retaining wall blocks to form a circle, as shown.

Step 4
If necessary, spray the blocks generously with one part Resene Moss & Mould Killer mixed with five parts of clean water. After 48 hours, wash off with clean water.

Step 5
Use a craft knife to cut the weedmat around the inner base of the retaining blocks, as shown. Remove this circle of weedmat.

Step 6
Fill the raised bed with some good quality potting mix.

Step 8
Plant up the bed with potted colour, as shown.
