Wellington banner art
From identical blank canvases, all who pass by will be amazed at the diversity that can be created with imagination and splashes of paint.
The Wellington City Council in conjunction with Resene have taken artwork to the streets enlisting 32 schools and a selection of local artists to turn blank banner canvases into works of art. The finished banner collection was displayed along the streets of Wellington, delivering a bright, bold, colourful statement to vehicular and foot traffic alike.
Each banner is painted in a range of Resene Lumbersider testpots – the perfect medium for its convenient size, extensive colour range and ease of intermixing.
From identical blank canvases, all who pass by will be amazed at the diversity that can be created with imagination and splashes of paint.
