Vicky Peacock artist

Vicky Peacock

Vicky studied Art at University in England before immigrating to New Zealand in 2001. She has been painting ever since, finding inspiration from the bright, vivid colors of New Zealand's beautiful landscape and the amazing contemporary artist scene. Her work is mainly focused on New Zealand contemporary landscapes, with some nature studies and child studies thrown in for good measure. She has also completed some murals for schools and for her daughter's bedroom.

She started using Resene paints after completing a mural project and realised the colours and quality of the paint suited her contemporary, representational style, perfectly. Resene Optimist is a special favourite and is always the base Vicky uses for a bright blue summers day.

Vicky yearns to spend more time on her art but currently has to fit her creative works in with her other busy roles as a part time teacher and a mum.
