It’s easy to turn some small terracotta pots into a cool metallic robot using a few Resene testpots.

Difficulty level: Moderate

You will need: 3 small terracotta pots, Exterior PVA glue, Paintbrushes (including artists’ brushes) Resene testpots in the following colours: Resene Alabaster, Resene All Black, Resene Silver Chalice and Resene So Cool, Resene Terracotta Sealer

Top tip: Give your robot pot some funky hair by planting it up with a small grass-like plant.

Step one
Apply one coat of Resene Terracotta Sealer to the pots and allow to dry.

Step two
Stick the pots together, as shown, using PVA glue. Allow the glue to dry.

Step three
Apply one coat of Resene Silver Chalice to the pots and allow two hours to dry.

Step four
Apply two coats of Resene So Cool to the pots and allow two hours to dry.

Step five
Paint two eyes with Resene Alabaster and allow to dry.

Step six
Paint the remaining face and body details with Resene All Black, allowing two hours to dry. How cool is that?
