Resene kids art with Mark Rayner - Project 121

Difficulty level: Moderate

You will need: Large paint tin lid (we used one from a 4 litre Resene paint tin), Low tack masking tape, PVA glue, Resene Quick Dry, Resene testpot of Resene Tree Frog, Seven cardboard toilet roll tubes

Top tip: For a rectangular look, you could use cardboard toothpaste cartons with the ends cut off.

Here's another idea: This nifty desk tidy was made from a wide cardboard tube stuck to a smaller paint tin lid and painted with Resene Fizz.

Step 2

Fix the toilet roll tubes to the paint tin lid using PVA glue and allow the glue to dry.
Step 3
Step three
Remove the masking tape and apply one coat of Resene Quick Dry to the desk tidy, allowing two hours to dry.
Step 4
Step four
Apply two coats of Resene Tree Frog to the desk tidy, allowing two hours for each coat to dry. How cool is that?
