Resene kids art with Mark Rayner - Project 125

Difficulty level: Easy

You will need: Artists’ brush, Resene Testpot of Resene Pelorous and Resene Sports Star, small lamp base, small white lampshade

Top tip: For safety reasons, always make sure you use the correct size light bulb in a lamp like this.

Here's another idea: This pretty flower lampshade was painted with Resene testpots of Resene Deep Blush and Resene Shiraz.

Step 1
Step one
Carefully remove cellophane packaging from the lampshade.
Step 2
Step two
Paint a cat shape on the front of the lampshade using Resene Pelorous and allow paint to dry.
Step 3

Paint eyes, a nose and a mouth on the cat using Resene Sports Star and allow paint to dry.
Step 4
Step four
Fix the lampshade onto the lamp base and screw in the light bulb – you might need a grown up to help with this bit. How cool is that?
