Difficulty level: Moderate
You will need: Artificial red roses (with foliage), clear silicon, florists’ wire, paintbrushes (including wide and fine artists’ brushes), Premium Art Grade Multimask (available from www.maskworx.co.nz), PVA glue, Resene Art Action Bullion, Resene Quick Dry waterborne primer undercoat, Resene testpots in the following colours: Resene Alabaster, Resene Black, Resene Guardsman Red, Resene Porsche, and Resene Spray, scissors.
To get the look: Mark painted the background wall with Resene Spacecote Flat waterborne enamel tinted to Resene Bismark.
Other ideas: For a darker effect, use Resene Art Action Copper Fire over a base coat of Resene El Salva.
