Difficulty level: Moderate
You will need: Craft shells, plain wooden picture frame, paintbrushes (including an artists’ brush), PVA glue, Resene Quick Dry waterborne primer undercoat, Resene testpots in the following colours: Resene Charlotte, Resene French Pass, Resene Pelorous and Resene Spray, sandpaper.
To get the look: Mark painted the background wall with Resene SpaceCote Flat tinted to Resene Texas Rose.
Other ideas: Create a fabulous theatrical effect by painting the shell frame with one coat of Resene Porsche followed by two coats of Resene Bullion.
