Create a multi-coloured mirror frame with the help of Resene and a bag of brightly ColdFusion buttons.
Smart as a button! - instruction sheet
Resene kids art with Mark Rayner - Project 42
Difficulty level: Challenging
You will need: Circular mirror in an MDF frame (ours came from ‘Spotlight’), PVA glue, Resene Multishield+ gloss (now Resene Concrete Clear), Resene Quick Dry waterborne primer undercoat, Selection of multi-coloured buttons, Resene testpot in Resene Turbo
Top tip: Keep the frame flat while the glue dries otherwise the buttons might move.
Here's another idea: Paint an artists’ canvas with a testpot of Resene Keppel and decorate with coloured buttons and sequins to create your own coloured star artwork.
