It’s easy to make this kooky puppet from a wooden spoon and a few Resene Testpots.
Spoon puppet - instruction sheet
Resene kids art with Mark Rayner - Project 48
Difficulty level: Moderate
You will need: Artists’ paintbrushes, Blue sequins, Cardboard, Pencil, PVA glue, Resene Quick Dry waterborne primer undercoat, Resene Testpots in the following colours: Resene Bright Red and Resene Tuft Bush, Scissors, Yellow wool
Top tip: Keep your puppet flat while the PVA glue is drying – otherwise her eyes and hair may slip off!
Here's another idea: These two puppets were made using testpots of Resene Curious Blue, Resene Wham, Resene West Side and Resene Havoc. They were then decorated with coloured feathers and paua shell.
