Resene kids art with Mark Rayner - Project 51

Difficulty level: Moderate

You will need: A clipboard, Gold glitter, Paintbrush, Puppy stickers, Red heart stickers, Resene Art Action glaze (gloss), Resene Quick Dry waterborne primer undercoat, Resene testpot of Resene Cabaret

Top tip: Stickers like these are available at most craft shops and discount stores.

Here's another idea: Try using a basecoat of Resene Optimist with blue and green glitter mixed with the Resene Art Action glaze.

Step 1
Step one
Prime the clipboard with one coat of Resene Quick Dry and leave for one hour to dry.
Step 2
Step two
Paint the clipboard with two coats of Resene Cabaret, allowing two hours for each coat to dry.
Step 3
Step three
Mix the glitter into the Resene Art Action glaze and apply one coat to the clipboard. Leave to dry for a couple of hours.
Step 4
Step four
Apply the puppy and heart stickers to the clipboard, as shown, pressing them down firmly - then get organising!
