Transform a plain terracotta wall plaque into a fabulous piece of garden art with a little bit of help from Resene.
Resene art with Mark Rayner - Project 62
Difficulty level: Moderate
You will need: Clean cloth, ‘Knead-it’ epoxy resin (exterior), latex glove, paintbrush, piece of galvanised wire, Resene Terracotta Sealer, Resene testpots of Resene Bullion and Resene Porsche, sandpaper, terracotta wall plaque.
To get the look: Mark painted the background shed wall with Resene Lumbersider tinted to Resene Green Pea.
Other ideas: For a bright metallic blue effect, paint the plaque with a basecoat of Resene Optimist followed by two topcoats of Resene Yeehaa.
