Resene kids art with Mark Rayner - Project 65

Difficulty level: Easy

You will need: Large cardboard art wallet, Paintbrushes (including an artists’ brush), PVA glue, Resene Art Action Quick Dry waterborne primer undercoat, Resene Art Action Metallics in Resene Silver Aluminium, Resene Testpot of Resene Victoria, Space stickers or pictures cut from a magazine

Top tip: Cardboard art wallets like this are available at most stationery shops and art suppliers.

Another idea: Art wallet

Step one
Paint the front of the art wallet with one coat of Resene Quick Dry. Once dry, turn the art wallet over and paint the back. Leave to dry.

Step two
Paint the front of the art wallet with one coat of Resene Victoria. Once dry, turn the art wallet over and paint the back. Leave to dry, and then apply a second coat to each side.

Step three
Once the paint has dried, use PVA to glue the space pictures and stickers around the edge of the front of the wallet, as shown. Leave the glue to dry for a couple of hours.
