Mural theme:
Gifts of character. Each puzzle piece represents a different ‘gift’ and was composed in the form of a puzzle to illustrate how all of the ‘gifts’ fit together in order to create character.

Background to mural creation:
Makoura College was approached by Ko te aroha to produce a mural based on their list of the ‘gifts of character’ on the wall, which is the exterior of their building. The year 10 art class worked together as a team to develop the plan and composition and paint the finished work.
