Mural theme:
Parawai and the Kauaeranga Forest Park. The mural depicts the school bird, the Tui, with kowhai (as in the school logo). One Tui is flying over the bushclad hills of the Kauaeranga Valley Forest Park and the Pinnacles rocky outcrop, near Parawai School.

Background to mural creation:
The Parawai School EnviroTeam and student leaders felt that the school environment needed enhancing and brightening up. The mural is part of a series and together with a range of other art pieces is part of the vision for the beautification of the school.
