Celebration of what makes our school special and the taonga that are precious to us.
Background to mural creation:
Each year our Year 8 students complete a legacy project to gift to our school and community. This mural faces out towards the Otago Rail Trail and is designed for the community to enjoy. The main boards portray our mountains (maunga), rivers (awa) and the farmland around us. The circles show the taonga that live in the area and the history of Central Otago.
