Background to mural creation:
This mural was created as a year 8 parting gift to the school, which is part of an annual tradition. The design was based on artwork from Q Cassetti. The students created a series of their own animals and looked at art by Lu Ann Kessi, Helen Roddie and Keith A Pettit to help establish background designs, adding their own flair along the way. The mural is now displayed to inspire upcoming artists at Wellsford School.
