Background to mural creation:
The theme of this mural was chosen to fit with the gorgeous elephant fountain already installed at the edge of the pool. The mural was designed to bring life to the toddler pool area for the enjoyment of all that use it. Alison created the mural to make a contribution to Gisborne, to express the happy kind of place the Olympic Pool is, to respond to the welcome to Gisborne that she has had.
