Background to mural creation:
The mural shows the multiple intelligences working in the head. They are body smart, word smart, visual spatial, music smart, logic smart, self-smart, people smart and nature smart. This has been an entirely student driven mural and the groups of 15 extension students has been working for two terms to develop it. The question posed at the start was “How can a mural teach people about thinking?” And this is what they came up with. The aim was for the pieces to fit together like a jigsaw puzzle so that people would have to get their own think tanks going and think hard about it.
