Background to mural creation:
As part of an enrichment session, the school gathered children from across the school who were passionate about making the school more vibrant, and so the mural group was formed.

The mural group went on an adventure around school to make a list of possible sites. Then the children each designed an image they would like to paint.

The site chosen is the gardening corner and the children started by using chalk to freehand draw the image. Then bit by bit they painted it, working during morning tea, lunch breaks and after school.
