Mural theme:
The local Kaumatua named our mural ‘Te Oranga’. This means health and wellbeing, it incorporates both our physical and spiritual needs, the importance of our environment – our mountain and river, the wildlife around us, our school and our multi-cultural community.
Background to mural creation:
They wanted to create a mural that reflects their true school community, who they are and what they are about, while providing a beautiful background for the local school Cultural Festival.
