Background to mural creation:
The mural was created as part of Hastings District Council murals project, which was developed to enhance community sites, reduce graffiti and increase community pride. The design is location specific and took into account flora and fauna and the historical value of the site. It has also proven educational to the various age groups who visit the site. The kids love it! The mural measures approximately 72 metres, excluding the large painted panel.
