Background to mural creation:
Selwyn House is a year 1-8 school. There is a friendship seat where younger students can go if they can’t find a friend to play with at morning tea and lunch. The In-School Problem Solving girls from year 7-8 felt this area needed to be more attractive, so they gathered ideas from all over the school and created this mural.
Alongside the mural, the girls have made games and collected toys to make this a space that younger children will gravitate to.
