Travel around the world without leaving your living room with wallpapers that encapsulate the feeling of international destinations and traditional styles.

There are designs inspired by Japanese artist Hokusai famous for his stylised ocean drawing, The Great Wave off Kanagawa and Persian-influenced designs that look straight from the pages of Arabian Nights. For something closer to home there are patterns reminiscent of tapa cloth of the Pacific Islands. Try an oversized plaid to give the cosy feeling of a Scottish bothy or a New York skyscraper skyline to help you get in an empire state of mind. Find wallpapers to remind you of places you have travelled to, loved ones in another destination or colour your walls with designs for places you are dreaming of visiting in the future.

Did you know?  The first examples of wallpaper came from China in the Qin dynasty where rice papers were pasted to walls. The Chinese wallpaper-making methods became more refined over time and by the 12th century, Chinese techniques were being used in Europe.
